Building the Design System Behind ZUMI's Healthcare MVP
Designing the foundation for a scalable healthcare product
ZUMI is a preventive healthcare startup focused on delivering a modern digital experience for patients. The project required establishing a scalable Design System that would support both the MVP application and its marketing website from day one. Working closely with the client's initial brand direction, I translated the visual identity into a production-ready Design System that included design tokens, accessibility-conscious color definitions, typography, reusable UI components, documentation, and usage guidelines. The result provided developers and future designers with a consistent foundation capable of growing alongside the product.
Creating a system designed to grow
Rather than delivering a collection of UI components, this project established the visual and functional foundation for ZUMI's digital ecosystem. The Design System enables faster product development, improves consistency across teams, and provides a scalable framework capable of supporting future features as the platform evolves.
